my attempts

in my attempts to become more of a lover of my home...... as i have been venturing over the past couple of years in learning how to cook seasonally, bake, and take care of my home.... i have come to a new depth. i tried to make my own bread.

i have many friends who do this and have done this for years. for me this was scary, uncharted territory from my grandmother's generation.

well, it is a work in progress but one that i think i enjoy. i'll keep you posted.

oh yay!!

I was SO scared the first couple times I made bread..but now it's not so scary. :)

what kind of bread did you make?

A friend just passed along a recipe for artisan bread that is supposedly amazing, and very quick and easy to make. I'm planning on trying it out soon...will pass the recipe along if it works. :)

I had 3 attempts at making bread recently...2 failed. It is very sad when your love and effort end in a flat brick. If the yeast doesn't bubble, then stop and either go buy more yeast or a nice loaf of bread. Trust me :)
Did it atleast taste good?
