criminal at heart

so today we ventured to target to get some necessities...toilet paper, razors, toothpaste... you know the essentials. but of course, it is target and who can leave with only what they need. i picked up a cool, little hat for a mere $9.99 - a deal and a half. i proceeded to wear it all around the store during our shopping extravaganza. what i failed to realize was that the hat was still on my head after having checked out...meaning it had never made it to the conveyor belt...meaning that it had never been paid for. luckily, we were only near the elevators and had not actually left the store yet..... but gretchen and i had a good little chuckle over what was almost a shoplifting incident. how would that look for a pastor's wife to be picked up for stealing with her newborn & toddler in tow?! phew!

LOL. I remember back in high school when our youth pastor was picked up by the cops. We were all going to a bball game, and he was pulled over for speeding. However, he didn't know that his license had been suspended for something seemingly minor. A little (unhappy) disagreement, bada-bing bada-boom, handcuffs, baffled high school church kids. Good times.

how about a circular tray made of aluminum, meant to convey french fries to hungry teenagers that at some point ended up in your possession? if only i could remember the name of the establishment in question.

I DID THAT! (stole from target that is)

target has the best cheap-o wash cloths (12 for 3.99). i us them to clean the house (ha! clean! yeah right! you can bleach them in the wash and re-use them). anyway, i ran in to get some other things, decided i didn't need them and left...

...with a bundle of 12 wash clothes under my arm! i didn't even realize they were there till i got to the car. i opened my door and they fell at my feet!

oof!! i'm gonna burn fo' sho'

ps: hey dew!!
